Autumnal Loveliness
Hello Reader,
Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. It is the first letter I'm putting out. So I'm pretty nervous, as I'm not used to writing. Coming up with words is not an easy task for me. I'll try anyway.
First, thank you again for letting me send you this letter to your inbox. And for having an interest in my photography.
Photography-wise, the last months of the year are always the busiest. When nature turns from green to colourful and the days get shorter. Fog and grey skies are now taking over.
It is this time of the year that I'm the most productive. Though, this year is unusual. In November, the trees were still green. They started turning at the end of November and the beginning of December. The change has never happened so late before. Have you observed the same? How did the trees look at your place in November? Still green? Colourful? Let me know. I'm curious.
Anyway, I'm thankful that I live in a beautiful place. The woods are at the front door. I don't have to walk far to be among trees, which is very convenient if you take pictures of the woodland.
I have been out and about quite a lot the last few days. Brisk and misty autumn mornings I like the most. It is then that I'm the most alive. Breathing in fresh cool air is invigorating. With so much autumnal beauty everywhere, composing interesting pictures is less challenging.
Let me know what you're doing. Are you cuddled indoors, or are you also outdoors doing art or being active, one way or another.
